Relative Pitch Review!

This is an interesting app made by the guys over at EasyEarTraining.com that teaches you to recognize sounds and distinguish the difference between them. Once you start the app you have 2 options to choose from, training or testing. The training explains how to use the app. The first lesson was called “Same orDifferent.” You go through 20 test sounds and have to specify whether you are hearing tones or unison. I got 20/20 the first try. They have many difficulty levels and each lesson starts by testing ascending intervals from the note C. Although I do not play any instruments, I did find this app entertaining and more challenging the further along I progressed through the game. All in all, if you want to sharpen your ability to recognize musical intervals or even see how sharp you are with recognizing sounds, this is an app worth checking out.
