Do you want to leave a tip!

When is it ok not to leave a tip? How about when you go into a restaurant and they let you stand at the door for 2 minuets while they talk amongst them selfs instead of seating you. Or how about when they bring your food out but not once come over to ask how is everything, do you need anything else, like a drink refill. I sat in this place today for 45 minutes and not once did anyone even try to refill my drink or acknowledge we where there. The biggest joke is when the lady who worked there, who seen our cups empty but never bothered to refill them as she walked past us over and over again, decided to say as I was paying for our meals “Do you want to leave the TIP on your credit card?”

I’m sort of confused when your rude and don’t bother doing your job, how it’s even right to think your going to get a tip or even to ask if its ok to add a tip on my card. Oh, I should also mention how this place was not busy and how they had plenty of workers to complete such a difficult task as refilling a drink.
